The headline at WNCN reads: Cumberland County Schools temporarily removes sex ed from middle schools. Here’s the video report:
At the end of the article, it’s noted where this program came from – Planned Parenthood:
“We had some parents with some questions about the content and in honor of their requests we’re taking review of the curriculum,” said Shirley Johnson, Cumberland County Schools Health Services director.
Shirley Johnson said some concerned parents are getting the wrong idea about the “Get Real” sex education program because it was developed by Planned Parenthood.
Now why would parents be upset with their 6th through 8th grade kids being subjected to slogans like, “Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Questioning. Get Real and Get Over It.”
How about, “Got Consent?” or “Male plus Female equal Love.Female plus Female equal Love.Male plus Male equal Love.”
Parents – Here is the “Get Real” website.
